The Kidrobot forums. All the people complain all of the time about how it's gone to shit, and then when anyone tries to help make it a better place, people bust out their egos and half inch peckers and go to war. They make a pariah out of a kid for doing something, and then defend each other for doing the same thing two weeks later. It can't be both ways - it's either done right or done wrong.


Of course, this all makes me exceptionally happy to have the CTU - a well run forum full of respectful customizers. You guys all fuckin rock.

This all makes me fondly remember my days as a mod on Elitistjerks.com and a few other sites - there was still no swearing or blatant unwarranted personal attacks, but that shit was run like a forced labor camp. Like five people a day at least got banned or rep'd.

You know i actually caught shit for flagging a for sale thread where the pics were legit from the kid's ebay? like, caught shit from a mod, asking me what my problem was. There's so many awesome people there, but some of the bad ones....

I agree with ya man, I dont even bother with KR anymore and its even getting to the point where I dont even want to order from them as well. I kinda feel that on their forum, if you arent making a couple g's to doodle your name half ass on some used toilet paper then they dont really give a rats ass what you can create. Which severly pisses me off from time to time cuz i swear, 90 percent of what i see come through the CTU doors is far more talented and respectful to fellow artist. I mean sure, everyone is out to make a name and to get paid....but theres no need to low brow your fellow brethren ya know. eh i digress ...the world keeps a spinning and jackasses are made everyday......thank god for this forum ...its always good to feel like i can honestly say i " know " you guys as artist and friends...even without have ever meeting any of you...eh but hopefully one day that will change for all of us.....

I like KR, but I don't venture out of the two 3A threads.

I'm peeved that the KR boards seem to be down and I need to tell some people that their shizzits not going out till monday.....

It's also a symptom of sheer numbers. More people there means a higher chance and percentage of the people that are devaluing the KR forum. I much prefer to be active here as this forum is much more close nit and this also supports the idea of everyone helping one another. I haven't been on this forum for a very long time, and I do enjoy this one much more. I also feel that I can put up my work here without boneheaded responses.

and the damn shit's down now....trying to get my trade on and send some peeps tracking #'s but whatevs.

I said this 2 years ago and tried to get people to come over to the October Toys boards. KidRobot boards are still too big of a place with more information in the vinyl world. It's the best place for buying and selling. I just wish they'd get REAL mods and let people get banned and repped and stuff. Trim the fat big time. KidRobot doesn't care about what goes on there no matter what they say. They'd rather make this KRonikle to post info and stuff rather then fixing the boards to make it a better place.

The Celsius Contest.... I'm by no means saying I should be winning, but, honestly.. the people that are should not be.

Thanks to Spanky for starting the contest, and handling everything that went with it.... and I know you warned me. But for some reason I thought talent would win over popularity and hacking.

I know what ya mean Man, Its sad to see that this is the easier route to take for a contest holder, but that it turns into such a cluster f&@K when it comes down to the wire. i can honestly say at this point in my vinyl customizing career I am quite happy with the way CTU has shaped up to be....and looking damn forward to this bracket....nothing but great artwork from equally great artist...coming together to showcase talents and skills alike..no bs, no popularity contest...just hard work...great work...and good peoples.
