Thanks Lysol.

I did some work on "FACEPLANT" (contest was won by a guy from the UK) last night. got his arms almost done. I will take some pics and post them up tonight. All that really is left with him are the hands and feet and some touch up work. Then I will shoot him with some gray primer and see if there is anything else that need some attention.

I am making progress slowly.

I am almost done with Faceplant. Here are most of the pieces. I still need to finish up his little flying eye buddy, surfboard and a bit of his body before I start making the molds and casting him.

And here is a shot with some of his buddies that I have been working on. I made some mini monster feet to turn all of my shift knobs into desktop art toys. The feet have a peg that goes up into the sculpt so they can be glued on or temporary.

Here are some close ups of the sculpts with feet.

The professor isn't a shift knob just a fun sculpt. I don't know if he will ever make it to his own resin toy run or not.

The little monster feet were fun and they can easily be modified to fill any of the shift knobs I have created so far to turn them into little monsters. I appreciate the support! I have made a bit more progress on the surfboard and his little friend. The flying baby eye now has feet and mouth and developed wings. I will get pics done this weekend and posted.

I didn't realize how many little things needed to be finished. They take soooo much time in comparison to blocking the body.

I had to shoot it with some dark gray primer so I can see where I still need to touch up. Her he is as a solid color.
Image

And the baby flying eye shot with some gray also. This guy is his little Jimminey Cricket except he gets him into a lot of trouble.

Love the figure. I think it'd be pretty cool if you made one that was mostly black/grey with a hint of color.

Is it me or do those feet look small? I think I may need to revisit that when I get a chance.

The feet do look a little bit disproportionate to the rest of the figure.

I love the guy with the huge mustache :D
