I've just really started my scary adventure into the world of acrylic paints, and it's a lot of fun. I'm still having problems with blending. I just can't get it to look right to me.I think the canvas is 24x38. Beside acrylics I also used real rust and KRINK mops. Any help is definatly welcomed and i hope you guys enjoy my work.

Did you try retarder? It helps with the blending. Also what kind of brushes did you use? It also helps. But I must say it is a great foray into painting! :woot:

I've been into arts my whole life, picking up things here and there, but right when I hit my teens and my skills would have brought me to acrylics and oils I found ANIME, and it was back to the drawing boards, literaly.By the time I hit my 20's I was still on this anime thing, I still am, but I started tattooing. Been tattooing for about 12 years now and I find myself having a very late start into acrylics and oils. I'm briging as much of my artstic scence into all my acrylics and oils as possible, but it's still tough for me right now. Oh, and thanks for the encouragement.

these are very interesting, I like your style, I am trying to get into the acrylic painting as well (have always done oils before).

really digging the style. have you tried wine/ashes/charcoal dust mixed with the paints? It's a good time.

Im not real big on the canvas painting, due to personal problems paint and I just dont get along color wise. But i must say for this to be your first jump into it youre doing one hell of a great job. clean lines and the themes used in your canvases are awesome...regardless of it being the first time or youve been doing it for 20 yrs...id be proud to have it hanging up....
