Everyone head on over to http://www.showmeyourvinyl.com. This will be the facebook of the toy scene. Pretty cool idea, and so far its working out great.

isn't that what rotocasted.com was supposed to be? there was another one too that never took off. I'll give it a try, but there too many forums and sites already. not to be a Debby Downer.

I like the concept, and it seems to work pretty well for comic books. Would be cool to see it take off. I think they should focus on more the catalog, and BST side of things than social networking.

I like it. It won't replace the CTU or KR boards for me but it would be a nice alternative to Facebook, which I just can't get excited about in any way at all.

This looks pretty neat. I too thought rotocasted was supposed to be the social network for toys, but I see this as significantly different. The rotocasted site is great for cataloging toys, but this one seems to be more oriented to connecting the people. I hope this sit does well!

not to be a dick (i love saying that), but a social networking site for "urban artists" (i'm assuming this covers graf based art?) that lacks any privacy policy and expects people to post their names is a bit much for me. There's also no terms of use, no contact info for the sites creator (without creating an account, that is), and even when you do use the generic "send us an email" form, you don't get a reply?

fail2evolve what part of New England are you in? I'm in MA...Didn't know about all of the privacy or lack of privacy settings but just taking a look over there and it seems to be a ghost town!! Not too many topics or replies....no action, no real reason to play in that sand box.

EDIT: Oh I just noticed their boards have only been up since 1-20-11 so we'll cut'em some slack but with KRMB(still the most active even in it's weakened state), CTU(Wish there was a bit more action) and 808 Orbits(Local Hawaii site) plus the 3 blogs I follow; I'm just played out for essentially the same product that KR supplies.

Been on the site for a few weeks and I am liking it. It is still in the beginning phase but it has potential. Hopefully it will help to get exposure for the lesser known but super talented artists and we can start to see changes in the shit that is being regurgitated from the production releases.
