This is a commission for Philip. He wanted a dunny that represented the men's cologne DKNY.

He wanted it on a Damarak dunny so that you can be able to see inside and see the tube. The whole idea was to make him look like he was sucking on the tube drinking up his own cologne.

I destroyed one Damarak in the first attempt I did on this. I had made a unfortunate mishap with the airbrush and went to correct it with some acetone and as I now know will turn a clear dunny into a cloudy mess if you use too much... :whack:

So my second time around I decided to crack him open, paint the back side of the inside of the dunny and leave the front clear, with the exception of the face and bubbles. That made it see through and was able to see the tube better and gave it more of a glossy shine after the sealant was place to give it a glass look. Twas a learning experience!

I hope you like him.

Thanks guys

Oh trust me. This guy was melted in places. It was the second application of acetone and no way in hell it was being fixed...

Just out of curiosity. How do you fix one if there is slight discoloration?

For the clear dunnies, I strip them with Rapid Remover (suggested by Matt A*). To try and remove any cloudiness or discoloration, I use Novus plastic polish (http://www.novuspolish.com/). They sell it at the salt water fish store my wife works at. Stuff works like a charm. If you are patient, you can use just Novus to buff off the paint from the clear dunny and bring it to a nice polish.

Very helpful advice! Thanks Schultzy! I will mark that down and give it a shot the next time I try one of them. :raisedaroof:
