Tribute to my dearest Tears of Envy. This one's for you Tammy. You know where it comes from.

Donner is getting some Mausers and I'll do some shots from other angles soon. Kupid has a shitload of 'tater mashers on his back :-)

Ok, well, they were fun (and hard) to make. Guess I won't bother with the "other angles" :-)

I respect the work, but I'm a bit on the fence about customs that reference the swastika.

If you live any where in the world you're going to have problems. I have to say... :whack:

I knew it! It ain't art until somebody cries.

Seriously though, the next series I have planned is WWII soviet inspired, leaning heavily on the hammer and sickle icon. Those of you who have studied the war extensively (as I have) will know that Stalin was in fact a butcher on par with Hitler. Should we not revile that icon in the same manner? Or the American flag for that matter? Robert McNamara, architect of the vietnam war served under Curtis Lemay in WWII. In an interview about a decade ago he said about the civilian firebombing campaigns and (atomic weapon usage) in Europe and Japan: "If we had lost the war, we would have been tried as war criminals". Kneejerk morality is cheap.

I'll be moving onto the allies after the soviets, then back around to some camo germans...

I'm just more into Zombies, clowns and weirdness not really not really history, fantasy or video game characters.

I can understand peoples scepticism, towards the use of the swastika. But that said. I really like the execution on these pieces.

I don't think there's any point in pretending that the war didn't happen or that the Nazi's didn't exist. And as long as people aren't glorifying them then I don't have a problem with it.

I think that these are great pieces. The simplicity of the designs, the use of the accessories, the application of the paint. I dunno, I really like them. But I do understand why others might not.

I should have done one from each major power out of the chutes to lessen the impact :-) Fuller, they are all from 1/6 scale Sideshow and Dragon figures. Harnesses and belts are all cut and modified.

Thanks guys... just ordered another dozen Munnys to play some more...

Those are very well done and would love to own one from each of the powers. Are you selling them?
