Today we are pleased to bring you an interview from another great artist from the upcoming Assassin Series, here is the 11th installment of the CTU's interview series...

Presenting the CTU's Dirty Dozen featuring: Nerviswr3k

1. What name do you go by and why?

I go by Nerviswr3k. I really dont have a reason why i use this name other than its how i feel with the worlds current events.

2. Why did you get into custom toy making?

I dont know why i got into toy making really. I do know that its something that i will keep doing till i cant no more. It's strangely easy for me and i dont say that to sound cocky, but when i draw or paint i always have such a hard time to transfer whats in my head to paper or canvas! Hope that makes sense.

3. What influences / motivates your work the most?

Conspiracy theories

4. What is your favorite platform to work with?

I like working on munnys. The Madl was pretty nice too.

5. What tools of the trade do you use?

My tools of the trade, hmm lemme see..... super sculpey, alien technology, dentist tools, old circuit boards, acrylic paint, aerosol paint, and any platform i can get for free! Pretty much anything thats free and readily accessible.

6. Do you have any formal arts training?

I went to art school but i wouldnt call it formal training, more like artistically oppressed!

7.What other artistic mediums do you dabble in?

Some painting and graff.

8. Who are your favorite artists?

Where to begin, so many to name, but just off the top i would say Craola, Camilla D'errico, Alex Pardee, Kofie, Chris Ryanik, justSam Flores, Luke Chueh, David Choe, Saber, Nate Van Dyke, Chauskoskis, Frank Mysterio, Jay222, Rsin, Plaseebo and believe me, there are tons more, its just 4 in the mornin while im tapping this so forgive me.......

9.Who or what pieces do you collect?

Right now i really dont collect but i am a happy owner of the Possesed Bear by Luke Chueh and Kissaki by Eric Scarecrow and a bunch of dunnys, too many to remember.

10. What piece are you most proud of?

The pieces i did for my solo show w/ Jay222 that got bought by the ZeroFriends Gang!

11.Do you have any shows or exhibitions in the works?

Right now i got my work on display at Red Hot Robot. Our show is called HomeGrown Monsters and its a group show w/ friend Jay222 from the Bay area. Check them out at this link, they are for sale till the end of May. http://www.redhotrobot.net/HOME_GROWN_MONSTERS_s/49.htm

I know exactly where you're coming from with the idea to paper stuff, I'm exactly the same way. Great read and great customs!

That is by far the best version of an R2D2 custom I've seen to date... Nice interview!
